Welcome to First Baptist Church, Hiwasse! If you have not yet visited us on Sunday, this page helps explain a little about what to expect.
Our worship service begins at 11am on Sunday mornings. It’s a good idea to arrive 10-15 minutes ahead of time so we can shake your hand, and greet you with a smile! The worship service typically includes a combination of praise and worship music and hymns. We usually also have some special music during the service.
The morning and evening message is a Bible-based teaching from our Pastor. Within the first few minutes of the message we stand for about a minute while he reads the Bible passage we are studying. Our Pastor teaches from books of the Old Testament and the New Testament. You can keep watch on the church website for news about what topics we are studying. Above all else, expect to be warmly greeted and encouraged when you visit… and expect to be invited back. We would enjoy the opportunity to worship and serve the Lord together with you!
