God
We believe that there is one God who eternally exists in three persons; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. He is perfect in His attributes of holiness, love, and goodness.
Jesus
We believe that Jesus is the only begotten Son of God who was born of a virgin and is both fully God and fully man. He lived a perfect sinless life and died on a cross in our place as a sacrifice for the sins of mankind. He was buried and rose from the grave on the third day and ascended to heaven. Jesus will return again to earth someday to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is the divine helper, counselor and instructor. He is active in the world convincing unbelievers of their need for salvation. He is the Comforter and Guide who lives in all believers.
Bible
We believe the Bible is God’s Word to us. It is divine truth that contains no error. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the sole authority for life and faith.
Man
We believe that man was created in the spiritual image of God but through the sin of the first man, Adam, all mankind fell so that all men are sinners and stand in need of salvation.
Salvation
We believe that salvation is the free gift of God granted through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ alone. Repentance is turning away from our sinful life and turning towards Christ. Faith is trusting in Christ alone for salvation and forgiveness of sin.
Assurance
We believe that every person who has made a genuine commitment of faith in Jesus Christ cannot lose their salvation. Salvation is maintained and kept by the power of God, not by any effort or work of the believer.
Eternity
We believe that people were created to exist forever and will exist either eternally separated from God by their sin or eternally with God through the forgiveness of their sin. Both heaven and hell are real places that exist throughout eternity.
Baptism
We believe that water baptism is an act of obedience to the command of Christ after salvation. It is an outward sign of an inward change that is done by immersion.
Church
We believe that the church is a local body of baptized believers. Jesus Christ is the head of the church.
